ABOUT OUR SOUND SYSTEM
As a professional DJ, I take pride in providing my clients with cutting edge technology equipment, creating the best possible sound for your money. We all use MAC computers, Mackey Speakers, Shure microphones, Sony or similar headphones, Behringer Mixers, and the best professional cables in the industry.

HOW WILL JUST A GREAT SOUND SYSTEM MAKE MY GUESTS DANCE
Merely having a good system is only a part of being a good DJ.. Music selection is equally as important, if not more critical - combined with the order of the music played. ..I can also proudly tell you, at nearly every event I do, people comment and compliment me on the selection of music played that night.

CAN WE ACTUALLY NOTICE THE SOUND QUALITY
Through discussions with Brides and Grooms, many other vendors and venue directors - This sound system is like bringing a live concert to every event. It is top notch, and the absolute best technology that money can buy.

This system is superior not only in sound, but in elegance and appearance. Not many Dj's out there put as much attention and detail into their sound system as I do. I feel this is just as important an aspect of a great DJ, as any other characteristic. A great DJ will represent the best, in every aspect of what they do. This is what you pay for - A great DJ, and a Great sound system - They should go hand in hand.

WHAT ADVANTAGES DOES THIS PROVIDE
The new all-digital setup has superior organizational and technological advances over the traditional CD systems I've owned and worked with over the years. It truly must be seen and heard to be fully appreciated. I use top of the line powered speakers and sub, a top of the line mixer, mic, and bring triple backup equipment to all events.

BUT - HOW WILL THIS ACTUALLY BENEFIT THE GUESTS AT MY EVENT
Though the immediate library access and workable playlists, combined with my specific and comprehensive event / music planning, organizing the outline of a wedding (and working a dance crowd) has become much more efficient, allowing me to even better facilitate the immediate sense of crowd musical interest. In other words, I can work more efficiently allowing better concentration of crowd musical interest.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY WORKS BEST TOWARD MAKING MY GUESTS DANCE
In my opinion, the most successful / musically entertaining events come from the DJ letting the wedding itself steer the direction of the night (regarding music selection). Every event is different than the next, and therefore each event should be allowed the freedom of song selection and song sequence, in order to allow music tailoring to the guests.

WHAT ABOUT THE MUSIC ITSELF? HOW MANY SONGS WILL YOU HAVE AT MY EVENT
A diverse Music Library currently OVER 16,000 high-quality songs (as of Feb. 2011)

WHAT DO YOU THINK IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN WHAT YOU DO
Providing a high level of professionalism and industry experience, while allowing the guests of an event dictate the music for the evening, rather than my musical interests. Only an Experienced Professional, a Discreet and Subtle DJ Personality, who comes with No Obtrusive Ego can provide this method of work. This is who I am, in everything I do.

YOU GUYS SEEM VERY PASSIONATE ABOUT WHAT YOUR WORK
It is very fulfilling for me to capture the interest of all ages at an event during the entire evening - No one should feel alienated. Yes, it is very fulfilling being a part of so many incredible special events. It's an incredible experience of appreciation at the end of a successful evening of beautiful music.

DO YOU BRING BACKUP GEAR
Yes - backup gear is brought to every event, including a backup power source for all equipment. It will not power everything for very long, but enough time to hopefully address the power issue without interruption of the music. Guests would not be aware of the loss of power unless it's more serious.

Other backup gear brought to every event: A second mic, backup music library on a second external hard drive (music library), second headphones, mixer, cables.

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR MUSIC
All our music is an MP3, M4p or M4a, legally purchased at iTunes (downloads) or Amazon (downloads). I can honestly say that we have never illegally downloaded any songs from the internet - All of our music selections are high quality audio files personally ripped by me from a purchased CD - Or a new MP3 / M4P-AAC song file purchased online through iTunes or Amazon. If we don't have your song, I'll first try to purchase it for you, or if I cannon find a selection I will ask if you can provide it for your Wedding (rare).

CAN YOU SUMMARIZE ALL OF THIS FOR ME
This DJ system I've built is very modern, incorporating cutting edge technology with an clean, elegant, and unobtrusive style. It is truly a result of attention toward the best sound technology and the most efficient workflow available today. This foundation provides my clients with the best available tools for a successful and fun evening of celebration..!

WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC MIGHT YOUR LIBRARY INCLUDE
Currently over 16.000 individually purchased songs, as high quality MP3 / MP4-AAC digital files - Our very diverse music library encompasses pretty much all genre's of music history, including many / most of the Top Hits From All Decades - 1920s through music of today.

DO YOU ALWAYS PLAY MUSIC FROM ALL OF THESE CATEGORIES AT YOUR EVENTS
We play only the music that is appropriate to each bridal couple's / bridal guest's musical interests. Wedding-Day preparation discussions prove very helpful toward this goal, just as does the Comprehensive Event Planner Form found within this website. (See the 'Event Planning' section above).

DO I HAVE TO GENERATE ANY 'MUST PLAYS' OR 'DO NOT PLAY' LISTS IF I DO NOT WANT TO
Specific 'Play' lists and 'Do Not Play' lists are always very helpful, but are only needed if you feel them necessary. Actually, 'Do Not Play' lists are almost always requested by us both. However, both Lindsey and myself understand that part of our responsibility that evening is to utilize our ability to read your group that evening, and play to what seems to be motivating the group to dance - Both individually through taking appropriate requests, as well for the group.

BUT WHAT IF I WANT TO, CAN WE MAKE A DO NOT PLAY LIST
Absolutely - I would only ask that if you do, that you understand that pre-selecting music inherently forces the musical direction into an area that may or may not motivate the general wedding to dance. Of course a shortlist of around 5 to 7 songs (typically then 30 minutes) can easily be absorbed into an evening of other music playing for the group that day. More songs than that could potentially hinder dance floor success, unless people are responding positively to our pre-selections.

WHAT IF WE HAVE OUR OWN MUSIC IDEAS AND INTENTIONS FOR OUR EVENT
Lindsey and I are always open to your ideas and musical intentions. We understand it is your event, your celebration, and your party..! We only want to make sure you and your guests have the best evening possible, whether that includes dancing or music as a background alternative. We always ask the question of whether you want us to utilize our skills of reading your crowd and playing to their musical interests, or whether that is a backseat to what you'd otherwise like for us to play at your event - It's YOUR event.. ..Ours only at which to provide entertainment.
