Interpretation vs. Realism

Photography is about interpretation to the viewer, whereas video... ...that's pretty real.

Photography relies on your imagination to fill in the details of the moment - Video captures voices, colors, atmosphere, laughter, emotions just as they happen. So with photography it's pretty important to let each photo paint that scene in the viewer's imagination properly.

I am fortunate to be asked to cover work all over the U.S. traveling where our work takes me.

Do you take group-guests shots at each table?: This is really up to you, but, if you ask me, no. I don't. I do try to capture your guests throughout your day in their natural state and interacting with others. My approach is less planned, less posed, and captures your guests in natural interactions. If requested it's not a problem.
Do you pose formal photos?: Yes, I do take family Formals at your Wedding. However, they go quickly in that I shoot them naturally (without sacrificing creativity or quality) so that we can get back to the party. We will work together to determine what is best for you.
What payment options do you accept?: I prefer and offer reduced pricing for Venmo and Zelle payments. I also accept credit cards through Square and Square Payments.
How many images will I receive?: I come home with usually over 2500 images from your event. but you can expect to receive approximately 800 to 1200 fully edited images, with a smaller selection of more creative edits contained within, depending on the time I am contracted for your Event.
How far in advance will you contract an Event?: We book Weddings up to two years before a contracted Event date.
How many images are contained within your Albums?: Depending on the image book you choose, it could vary between 60 and 125 images. Most books / packages are in the 60-90 range.
Will I receive an Album layout to approve prior to ordering?: Yes. You select the images for your Storybook within the proofing section of my website (while they're posted), then submit your order. Once the album design is complete, an exclusive online interactive PDF proof will be made available for your review.
Do you have a cancellation policy?: Yes. I have separate terms for photographer cancellation and client cancellation. All money received is used as a credit (with a 5 year expiration date) when a client cancellation is necessary. In the very rare case of a photographer cancellation, we'd first try to find a suitable replacement within the network of contacts we have, or all money would be returned to the client.
